This session will focus on the ongoing challenges of drought discussed at COP16 and explore future solutions.
The session will feature key experts:
- Birguy Lamizana, from the UNCCD Secretariat, will provide the Secretariat’s perspective.
- Michael Bruentrup, former Chair of the Intergovernmental Working Group (IWG), will offer his expert insights.
- Rodrigo Andrade Ramirez, from Chile’s Ministry of Agriculture, will present a country-level viewpoint.
