We are pleased to invite you to join a Virtual Exchange on Institutional Coordination for Drought Resilience, jointly organized by the Integrated Drought Management Programme (IDMP) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

This session will take a closer look at how effective institutional coordination can strengthen drought preparedness, response, and long-term resilience. It will build on FAO and IDMP’s Guidelines on Institutional Coordination for Drought Management, exploring key challenges, practical approaches, and lessons learned from different country contexts.

The exchange will feature an interactive expert discussion on what makes institutional coordination work in practice, followed by short country case presentations highlighting how coordination is organized and implemented on the ground. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage through live discussion and questions.

As usual, the session will include a Marketplace segment, where partners are invited to briefly present their projects, tools, or initiatives (3 minutes each). If you would like to contribute, please contact sabina.bokal@gwpcee.org.
